Terms & Policies

Condition & Measurements

• All measurements are approximate.

• Photos are considered part of the description — please review them carefully. Since items are antique or vintage, what qualifies as “excellent condition” differs from modern standards. Normal age-related wear should be expected unless otherwise stated.

• If you’d like more photos or clarification, please contact @oldmine_jewelry before purchasing.

Gemstones

• Gemstones do not come with certificates or reports unless specifically mentioned in the description.

• All fine gemstones are tested and assessed by a certified gemologist, and descriptions are based on this assessment.

• If you would like an official gemological report, Oldmine can arrange this for an additional fee. Please inquire before purchasing.

Delivery

• Worldwide UPS Express shipping (approx. 2 working days).

• Orders ship within 1-3 working day, with tracking information sent by email.

Oldmine is not responsible for lost packages if:

• Shipping details provided by the customer are incorrect, or

• The customer does not contact Oldmine within 30 days of purchase if a package has not arrived, or

• Delivery fails due to invalid addresses, refused packages (e.g. unpaid customs), or uncollected parcels.

Oldmine is not responsible for duties, taxes, or tariffs incurred*. Returns will not be accepted on the basis of duties levied.

Cancellations

• Purchases may be cancelled within 1 hour of checkout by messaging @oldmine_jewelry on Instagram.

• Refunds will be issued minus a 10% restocking fee.

Returns

Oldmine does not offer exchanges but accepts returns for a refund.

Deductions from refund:

• 45 USD shipping cost (even if originally included)

• 10% restocking fee

• Any duties/taxes incurred on return shipments.

Return process:

1. Contact Oldmine within 24 hours of receiving the item.

2. Return the item within 2 working days.

3. Ship with UPS Express only. Other couriers are not accepted.

4. Fully insure the package (Oldmine is not responsible for loss or damage).

5. Mark customs forms as “returned goods/return.”

Non-returnable items:

• Custom or personalized orders, resized or altered items

• Items from the OMJ Fine Jewelry Collection

• Items on sale

• Items purchased via layaway/payment plan

• Any orders where the customer has already cancelled or returned items previously.

Layaway

• First installment is due immediately and serves as the non-refundable down payment.

• All layaway sales are final.

• If cancelled or payments are missed, a shop gift code will be issued for the amount paid (minus the down payment).

Privacy Policy

Oldmine is committed to protecting your privacy. Only data required to fulfill your order is collected. This information is used solely to process and dispatch your order.

*Tariff & Customs Policy (update as of September 5th, 2025)

Due to recent changes in U.S. tariff regulations, orders under 800 USD are no longer exempt from customs taxes. To ensure smooth delivery, all orders — both under and above 800 USD — will ship with customs duties and taxes pre-paid.

• Returns are still accepted.

• The pre-paid duty and the standard 10% relisting fee will be deducted from the refund.
