This bracelet is probably my best find to date! Old gold pieces from the man himself, The father of Danish gold design, Georg Jensen, is absolutely impossible to find - and this one is even in amazing condition!
Georg Jensen was born in 1866 and grew up close to forest and lakes just north of Copenhagen. Nature was his core source of inspiration. Symbols of the natural world weave a common thread throughout his designs: fruits, blossoms, leaves and organic shapes just like you see in this bracelet that he did in the beg. of the 1900s.
Georg Jensen founded his company in Copenhagen in 1904 and quickly became one of the most acknowledged goldsmiths in the whole of Europe.
This particular bracelet is definitely a masterpiece with her impeccable flowers and leaves formed meticulously in 18K solid gold. Each flower is so detailed and pretty and the little links follow the curve of the wrist beautifully.
The bracelet is 8 mm wide and has an inside circumference of 7 inches/18 cm. 19 grams.
The amazing hidden clasp is pretty hard to see, it’s that well made and it’s in perfect working condition. It has the sought after Georg Jensen stamp “GJ” and also marks for 18K.
The color of the bracelet is radiant and glowing and just absolutely stunning.
