Antique Rare Amazing Victorian Puzzle Ring 18K Gold
This is an absolutely amazing, super rare, antique puzzle ring dating to the Victorian era.
The ring is made in the most luminous, buttery, beautiful 18K gold and weighs a whopping 6.7 grams.
It’s done in puzzle style meaning that the ring consists of 4 individual pieces that needs to be puzzled back together if you “break” them up.
There’s a long historic tradition for puzzle rings as they go as far back as to the Egyptians. It’s said that 17th century husbands bought their wives puzzle rings to make sure that if the wife took of the ring to cheat, she would not be able to put it back together, and he would instantly know.
