Gorgeous Vintage Disco Ball Chain 14K Gold 1950s
I usually don’t talk bad about the jewels... but this lady!
I tell you, she’s rare, HEaVENLy and radiant but a total b* to photograph!!!!! I’m still recovering from that experience.
The thing is: She has NO discolorations and only normal age-related wear to the surface - but in the pics!?? Odd colors and dark ares everywhere! And the sun made this whole thing even more difficult. I imagine that this is what photographing a disco ball feels like.
So you just have to trust me when I tell you that the gold is lovely in reality. She looks like a superstar and lays so beautifully and naturally on the neck.
The necklace is done in 14K solid gold and weighs 26 grams. The links are moveable squares, and they are box-shaped on 2x2mm thickness.
The shortest strand is 15.7 inches (and the longest strand is 0.6 inches longer and sits, of course, lower). The widest part of the chain is 8mm.
She has a well working security clasp with extra safety.
You can see how the chain is build on the last pic of the backside.
She dates to the 1950s Denmark, and I could easily have seen her on Christina Hendricks's neck I’m Mad Men. This necklace is sex on legs! (When she’s not being a b*!)
And she’s rare. You will not meet anyone with one like her around their neck.
