Georg Jensen was born in 1866 and grew up close to forest and lakes just north of Copenhagen. Nature was his core source of inspiration. Symbols of the natural world weave a common thread throughout his designs: fruits, blossoms, leaves and organic shapes just like you see in this bracelet.
Georg Jensen founded his company in Copenhagen in 1904 and quickly became one of the most acknowledged goldsmiths in the whole of Europe.
This particular bracelet is definitely a collectors piece with her impeccable flower buds formed meticulously in solid sterling silver. Each bud is detailed and pretty and the links follow the curve of the wrist beautifully.
The bracelet is 6 mm wide and has an inside circumference of 6.75 inches/17.5 cm and weighs a whopping 22 grams!
The amazing hidden clasp is pretty hard to see, it’s that well made and it’s in perfect working condition. It has the sought after Georg Jensen stamp and also marks for sterling silver.
