High Carat Mid Century Link Bracelet 19K Gold 1950s
This is an absolutely sublime fancy link bracelet from the in 19K solid gold!
Fancy link is the name of a link type that’s made up by the goldsmith himself so it really doesn’t have a name. I love fancy links since they are absolutely one of a kind.
The bracelet was made in Portugal in the 1950s. If you’re not familiar with Portuguese jewelry you should know that they have a looong tradition of making extraordinary beautiful gold pieces, almost always in high carat like this. The craftsmanship is always impeccable just like with this old lady.
The links are so beautiful, they move like a snake and they are just so wonderfully made. I love the little ball details, like on the clasp that has three little balls so that the pattern continues when you wear the bracelet.
The bracelet weighs 18.5 grams and she’s 8.5 inches long. She’s 10 mm wide.
The condition is excellent with very very minor traces of wear. The clasp is working perfectly. The clasp has full hallmarks for carat and maker.
The bangle and anchor link will be available later.
