Fabulous Edwardian Wedding Band 18K Gold 1902
New in! A 119 year old fabulous Edwardian engraved gold band - in a large size!
This extraordinary beautiful wedding band was made in 1902 in 18K gold (with full hallmarks).
She weighs a whopping 12.3 grams!! She’s is 8 mm wide and almost 2 mm thick. Such a substantial ring! I don’t think that I have had rings this heavy before. You are getting A LOT of gold here.
The band has beautiful flowers, ivy leaves and fern leaves all the way around. Like a beautiful, old garden in the late spring.
She fits between 8.75-9 US. Not sizeable.
As you might have noticed I don’t have a lot of these antique patterned bands anymore since they are getting harder and harder to find in good condition so I’m pretty pleased to offer this one for sale.
All colored areas on the pattern are just reflections from the surroundings and camera but the ring has a few teeny tiny dark corners in between the pattern. My jeweler thinks that these have been there from the very beginning as a result of the original engraving process. Personally I think they add to the charm but I have set the price accordingly. The condition is excellent, the band is still so soft and thick and delicious.
