Anna and Arthurs 1930s 20K Rose Gold Bands
A 1930s love story! This is the true tale of two people in love, Anna-Brita and Arthur and their three 20K rose gold bands
On a perfect, sunny Swedish June summer day, Arthur proposed to Anna-Brita with the most beautiful skinny rose gold band in 20K gold. He had probably been saving up to that ring for ages. Anna was in love with her Swedish boy and said yes!
True to Nordic tradition Arthur also got himself an engagement ring to match Annas. Same color but wider and a bit chubbier. Now everyone could see that they belonged to one another.
Two years after, when they had saved up for the wedding, the two of them walked down the isle in July 1937. Arthur gave Anna one more ring, a matching skinny band as a symbol of their marriage. Their life as husband and wife could now begin.
I wonder how their life went about. They got we’d just before the war and a rough time was definitely ahead.
When I hold the rings I sense happiness, warmth and positivity so I have a feeling that this was a happy marriage. I always think that different old pieces send out different vibrations but maybe that’s just me?
If you buy one of these rings I hope that you will send Anna-Brita and Arthur a thought every year on their engagement or wedding day and let them know that their ring is still well loved.
