Stunning Bismarck link bracelet from 1964!
I just love a good Bicmarck bracelet. And this one is fab! The design is so cool and timeless.
The Bismarck link resembles a chain link fence but with a much tighter mesh arrangement. It starts running as two curb chains whose sides are then neatly soldered together to form a parallel length of links.
This particular example is beautiful and has an amazing glow to her.
She’s done in 18 solid rose gold and weighs 25 grams! She measures 7 inches in inside circumference. The links are 9 mm wide. She has marks for maker and The bracelet was made by The Swedish goldsmith Bergmans Guldvaror in Arboga, 1964.
She’s in excellent condition with minor age-related wear. All dark areas are just reflections from the surroundings.
