Antique 81 Year Old Engraved Wedding Band 18K Gold 1941
An extraordinary unsizeable size 5 (also fits like s 5).
This ring was commissioned probably by the original owner, and was made out of two old high carat bands (one engagement and one wedding), and engraved to the outside after they were soldered together.
I think this is the most romantic, beautiful idea ever. To keep the engagement and wedding band inseparable forever and joined into one by a heavenly engraved handmade pattern.
The ring is made in 18K gold, outstandingly radiant, and in the most precious color.
Both ring parts have engravings on the inside and full Swedish hallmarks for 1941 and 1944. Both read “Uno” and then some dates I can’t fully read. This was probably a four year long engagement before the owner of the rings got to marry her husband Uno.
The bands have some cracks to the inside (last pic) but these have no consequences whatsoever and don’t reach the outside. They will not grow bigger or anything.
The ring weighs a whopping 7 grams and it’s 6 mm wide.
