This very special band is made in 23K solid gold and has full Swedish hallmarks for 1939 making her 80 years old.

The ring was made by the Swedish goldsmith C.G. Hallberg who was active from 1913-1982 in Stockholm.

She is absolutely magical with high soft worn pattern of swirls. Someone has loved and treasured him for so many years, and I’m hoping that you will too!

The band is 3 mm wide, 1.5 mm thick and weighs 4.5 grams.

The condition is well loved, and the shape is oval. Symmetrical but oval as you can see in the pic.

The ring has engravings for Lisa 19-11-1939 meaning that the ring was made just before World War Two broke out!!

The ring is 6.75 but fits like a 7. The band can be resized by your local jeweler.

There’s just something so alluring about a simple gold ring that is made out of almost pure gold!

Did you know that gold is heavenly in every sense of the word? Here on earth, we find it deep down the grown but all of the gold that is deposited here, was once formed when stars exploded and asteroids collided. It fell on earth and was then covered with millions of years of soil.

There are two theories about how gold was actually formed. One says that when supernova stars exploded there was a nuclear fusion happening, creating atoms of gold. The other one suggests that is was neutron stars colliding and creating a gamma-ray burst. The gamma ray burst is the most powerful explosion that we know of!

In other words. When you are wearing high carat gold, you are wearing star dust.

Gold is the rarest of all the metals we know. Pure gold (as you almost see in the 23K bands) is bright, radiant and glowing! Just like it’s mother star. It’s also soft and malleable so to harden it for jewelry different alloys like silver and copper are added. The more alloys in the mix, the lower the carat.
