Beautiful Antique Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring 18K Gold 1800s
This old mine cut diamond is RARE cause she is ultra clean, VVS quality and you just rarely that with old diamonds. In the 1800s most diamonds came with inclusions both because India (where many of these were sourced) kept the best diamonds themselves but also because clean diamonds were expensive and not many could afford them.
This particular diamond is near colorless and has the most beautiful sparkle. She weighs approximately 0.50 carats.
She’s set in a gorg buttercup setting in 18K gold (4.1 grams). The whole thing is original, and dating to the last half of the 1800s.
The ring is currently a size 10 but can be sized down to a 6.5. Also up of course :-)
The ring rises 5mm above the finger and the band is 3.5-10 mm wide.
