The softest sea-green you can imagine - a large emerald-cut green spinel of around 9.9 x 7.7 mm, set between beautifully decorated shoulders in warm 18K gold. She was made in Sweden in 1951, and she has that quiet, tailored elegance the early 1950s did so well - I have written about the stone and its history here: What Is Spinel?

She fits like a size 5.25 US. I want to be honest with you: the stone sits ever so slightly loose in her setting, but she is perfectly secure and nothing needs doing - you only notice if you go looking. She is in excellent condition with minor signs of age.
