Gorgeous Vintage Danish Sterling Silver Garnet Leaf Necklace 1950s
Straight out of a Copenhagen workshop of the 1950s - a sterling silver necklace of scalloped links, each one dropping a hand-chased silver leaf with a deep wine-red garnet cabochon glowing above it. This is Danish mid-century silver at its most romantic: nature-inspired, beautifully made, and so wearable that she feels modern seventy years later.
She is fully marked - you can look Danish silver marks up in my hallmark encyclopedia here: Danish Hallmarks - and the garnets have that deep, glowing red that only looks richer against silver.
She measures around 15.75 inches long - sitting right at the collarbone, where the leaves move with you and catch the light. She is in excellent condition with minor signs of age.
