Stunning Antique Portuguese Silver Repoussé Flower Bangle
Every single flower on her was raised by hand. This antique Portuguese bangle is covered in roses and daisies in deep, soft relief - made in the old repoussé technique, where the silversmith hammers the design out from the inside of the metal, then chases every petal from the front. It is centuries-old craftsmanship, and it gives the flowers a depth and life no modern casting can touch - run a finger over her and you feel every bloom.
She carries both her Portuguese hallmarks and Swedish import marks - a little passport stamped in silver, telling us she made the journey from Portugal to Sweden. She closes with a secure clasp plus a little safety chain, so she sits perfectly secure on the wrist.
She weighs around 11 grams with an inside circumference of around 7.25 inches. I want to be honest with you: she has her beauty marks from a long life well loved - you can see them in the photos - but she is extremely beautiful in real life, and on the wrist you see nothing but flowers and light. She is in excellent condition with signs of age.
