Stunning Vintage 18K Gold Cocktail Ring with Ocean-Blue Spinel, Sweden 1954

Now THIS is a cocktail ring. A great, glittering emerald-cut spinel in the dreamiest ocean blue, set high between bold stepped shoulders of warm 18K gold - pure 1950s Stockholm glamour. Cocktail rings were born for exactly what the name promises: to be seen across the room, catching the light on a raised glass. She was made in Stockholm in 1954 and carries her full set of Swedish hallmarks - you can read them yourself in my hallmark encyclopedia: Swedish Hallmarks. The colour is extraordinary - a deep, clear blue that flashes lighter every time your hand moves.

She weighs around 6 grams and fits like a size 5.75 US. She is in excellent condition with normal signs of age.
