This airy and opulent 1940s pendant from Gothenburg has completely stolen my heart. Crafted in warm 18k gold and delicately detailed with curling floral or foliate forms, she holds at her center a brilliant-cut blue spinel that catches the light like a drop of summer sky. The overall effect is light, bright, and impossibly elegant like a golden swirl suspended mid-dance.

She measures just over 1.5 inches in height including her generously sized bail, making her easy to wear on a range of chains, from fine to slightly chunkier ones. She weighs 5.5 grams and is marked with full Swedish hallmarks for Gothenburg 1948.
